(Hotswap) Promenade RP24HS
This item is in stock and will ship in 2–3 business days.
The Promenade is an ortholinear keyboard that uses 1.5u Ergodox-style modifier keys. It is designed to fit in many 60% cases. This is an independent remake of the Boardwalk PCB with some additional features.
There is a 1.5u and a 1u center-column version of the PCB. This is PCB only and does not include keycaps, switches, a case, or a plate. If you would like a plate, please order one here: Promenade FR4 Plates
The solder version with more layouts can be found here: Promenade RP24S PCB (Solder ver.)

Layouts
1.5u Layout Options ⌨
1u Layout Options ⌨
*The 1.5u version can be converted to the 1u version (and vice versa), but it requires desoldering and resoldering hot-swap sockets. This is not recommended, but it is possible if your desired layout is out of stock.
2u, 3u, 6u, 7u Spacebar Support
Warning: Clip-in stabilizers will only work on 7u and 6u spacebars. The 3u and 2u stabilizer holes slightly overlap, making it impossible for them to be secured properly. Screw-in stabilizers are therefore recommended.

Case Compatibility
Please see my comment on Geekhack regarding case compatibility.
It is impossible for me to compile a list of every possible 60% case that might work, and fit cannot be guaranteed for cases that have not been tested. Some cases might work, but may require extensive modification to the case and/or PCB.
In general, the Promenade should work in most GH60-compatible 60% cases that are either tray mount or have top-mount-style plates. This PCB is also designed to work in gummy O-ring style cases like the Bakeneko. Most cases will require a custom plate. Some (most tray mounts and gummy O-ring cases) can use a simple drop-in plate like the ones sold on this site .
I have personally built Promenades in:
- Geon Frog Mini (custom plate)
- TinyNeko
- HMKB 60% (BW)
- Ryloo Studio “Hello” M0110 (custom plate)
- BBox60 (required heavy case modification)
- Mekanisk Fjell and Klippe T
- KBDFans Acrylic 5 Degree (required some case modifications)
- dn60 (required extensive PCB modifications and limited usable layouts)
Others have built Promenades (or Boardwalks) in:
- Tofu60
- Tofu60 v2 (custom plate)
- KBDFans Holy 60
- Saturn 60 (Boardwalk plates offered at GB)
- Bakeneko60
- GH60
- Salvation
The Promenade PCB will NOT work in:
- QK60
- Monokei Kei V1
*The edge cuts are designed to fit many common gummy O-ring 60% boards like the Bakeneko. Because the switches in the corners are a bit farther from the sides of the board, the friction fit of the gummy O-ring may not be as tight as a normal PCB. There are M2 standoff holes in the corners to expand the O-ring if desired.
**Tested and working on C3 and C5 Unified daughterboards. JST cable and daughterboard are NOT included.
***For compatibility with some daughterboard cases, the USB-C port can be removed with either a heat gun or soldering iron and pliers, or flush cutters. Please be careful when removing it. Reinstalling a USB-C port will likely not be possible once removed.
